Peter believes in a values based approach to financial planning. By helping his clients clearly define their objectives and what is truly important to them, he can design a planning program customized to his clients' individual needs. Understanding that no one area of planning stands alone, Peter takes an interdisciplinary view of a client's present situation and models a program to help them pursue their personal financial goals.
Peter has been in the financial services industry since 1989. He attained his CFP® certification from the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Board of Standards, Inc. (CFP Board) in 1999 and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation from The American College in 2001. As a CFP® professional, he is held to the rigorous standards of the CFP Board.
When not working, Peter enjoys spending his time with his three adult children, his extended family, and friends. He also enjoys golfing, bowling, college sports and the beach in off-season.
"Those who would be stewards of other people's money have the highest fiduciary responsibility. It doesn't matter if you are investing money for clients or running a company for shareholders, you have the same responsibility." - John Bogle, Vanguard Funds.
